One of the most famous battles of the American Indian Wars was the Battle of Little Bighorn, which took place on June 25 and 26, 1876 in Montana. The battle involved George Armstrong Custer's 7th Cavalry and a combined Lakota-Northern Cheyenne and Arapaho force. The battlefield is now a national monument, forever-preserved by the National Park service so that the land will never be developed or disturbed. To celebrate the paths less traveled in national monuments (these places receive far fewer visitors than National Parks), Anderson Design Group poster artists hand-rendered an original illustration in the fashion of vintage poster art and travel art. This retro design and wilderness art is available as a poster, print, canvas, mini canvas, metal sign, notecard, or postcard.
